Job Description Summary

The primary responsibility is to oversee Accounts Payable/Receivable process in partnership with our outsourced services, ensuring compliance with origination countries regulations and corporate policies and procedures. This role will require understanding the Boeing business and answer queries from the Local offices and the managing the outsourced operations team.

Job Description

Boeing Office in Amsterdam is a replica of Boeing Company in US, which includes different departments and functions. The Accounts Payable/Receivable Accountant role will be in Amsterdam to contribute to and support the overall Finance and Accounting operations in the EMEA region.

A 12-month fixed term contract will be initially offered to the successful candidate, likely to be turned into permanent depending on candidate’s performance

The primary responsibility is to support answering all incoming queries related to the Accounts

Payable/Receivable process in partnership with our outsourced services, ensuring compliance with origination countries regulations and corporate policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

Monitor incoming queries from the Local Offices in the Europe Middle East and Africa region (mainly deal with UK entities).Support the issue/dispute resolution process in partnership with our outsourced services.Validate accuracy of data entry processed by our outsourced services.Monitor Accounts Payable/Receivable performance in line with the Service Level Agreement and related metrics.Oversee internal and external audits.Ensure proper Accounts Payable/Receivable subledger information recording in support of the International Accounting team.Ensures compliance with business commitments, company policies, laws and regulationsSupport process improvement & automation for Accounts Payable/Receivable processesProduce routine & ad-hoc reports/reconciliations for internal & external teams.Work closely with different Business Unit focals from EMEA region.Manage Project for any system implementation and prioritize a wide range of complex issues and opportunities.

Basic Qualifications (Required skills/Experiences):

+2 years of relevant work experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable or Accounting experience working in international environment.Strong written and oral communications in English. Another language is a plusProficient computer skills with MS Office specially with MS Excel.Experience of ERP and accounting systems (Experience in following system: Oracle, SAP4 HANA)Strong organizational skills, excellent judgment, extreme discretion and the ability to think independently and work collaboratively.Demonstrated outstanding communication skills: Listens and demonstrates understanding; clarifies meaning for others; speaks with clarity and precision; able to communicate with a diverse audience; writes clearly and concisely.Advanced problem-solving skills: Develops solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Refers to policies, procedures, and practices for guidance.Must have a tolerance for organizational complexity and needs to be a very strong, committed team player. Needs to embody most if not all of the following behavioral characteristics:Foster diversity and cultural differences.Provide an ethical and personal leadership model.

Preferred Qualification (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor and/or Master Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent is preferredAbility to work in independently in a complex, multi-market operationsA committed team playerEnjoy driving change and efficiencyWell organized with ability to prioritize tasksProactive, process driven, analytical approach to problem solvingSelf-motivated and ability to work unsupervised on own initiativesAbility to work in deadline dedicated environment
