Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview EagleView, the leader in aerial imagery, is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist. As a quickly growing technology company, every day is busy and challenging. In this role you will support the day-to-day operational activities of EagleView's Accounts Payable department. You will review purchase orders, statements, and invoices to verify amounts owed, and record and process payments for vendor invoices in accordance with internal accounting policies and oversee payment schedules utilizing our accounting software and systems. You will maintain and reconcile the accounts payable ledger to validate charges and ensure accurate and timely payments. There's also a customer service component to this role, as you'll be responsible for responding to vendor inquiries and assisting with the research of any discrepancies in billings and payments. Responsibilities Examine purchase orders, receiving reports, and vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness. Ensure proper authorization and compliance with internal policies. Enter and upload invoices into the accounting system. Verify and resolve discrepancies between invoices and purchase orders. Prepare and execute payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers. Ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices to avoid late fees and penalties. Update and maintain vendor information in the accounting system. Ensure accurate and up-to-date vendor files and records, including W-9 forms and contact information. Work closely with procurement, receiving, and other departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience (Bachelor's degree is preferred). Proficiency in NetSuite 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
