The Role 

We are looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our fast-paced, high-performing international accounting team. As we continue to grow and expand globally, we understand that hiring the right people and treating them well is key to our success! We are a multi-national company with locations in 18 countries, with each location contributing to Proofpoint’s amazing culture. This individual will be an integral part of the wider accounting team with focus in European countries. This is a great opportunity that will allow for career growth as the Company continues to expand.

Process AP Invoices for multiple entities in various currencies accurately & in a timely manner (Non-PO, 2-way PO and 3-way PO)Cross train with the expense and travel team.Managing multiple email mailboxesManaging AP Queries Assist with Month End and Quarter End Close activities.Any ad hoc tasks as required by management.Communicating with internal and external stakeholders & vendors via email and phone Posting weekly EFT and Wire payments.

What we are looking for:

Business or accounting certificate/diploma or higherProficient in Microsoft Office, especially excelExperience with Microsoft Dynamics or other ERPWorking knowledge of banking payment softwareAwareness of travel & expense software tools, Chromeriver & Navan an advantageGood attention to detailCustomer focused Works well on own initiative and as part of a global team across multiple locationsFocus on continuous process improvement
