The position reports to the Senior Business Manager. The position will be responsible for completing day-to-day task of matching, uploading invoices to shared services, coding invoices, approve raw material receipts and reconcile raw material inventory for the ready-mix product line. Additionally monitor the AP phone calls, statements and other duties as required. Heidelberg Materials provides the materials to build our future. Our future is sustainable. Our future is digital. Heidelberg Materials North America operates more than 450 locations with approximately 9,000 employees in the U.S. and Canada. **What You Will Get to Do** Work closely with peers, supervisors and managers for purchase requests, the purchase order process, and assist in submitting to vendors. Administrate the purchase system, issue specialty purchase orders, provide various PO reports to VP and managers. Receive and code invoices from purchase orders and process accurately for approval. Assist Accounts Payable Coordinator in vendor management, including setting up of new vendors, escalating payments for critical vendors, and following up with vendors as needed for payment statuses. Data entry, facilitation of required paperwork, and support of month-end procedures as needed. Assist in reconciling vendor statements, research, and process any missing invoices immediately. Assist reconciling raw material inventory. Other duties as required **.** **Who We Are Looking For** High school diploma or equivalent required. Post-secondary education in business administration, finance, accounting, or equivalent experience. 3+ years of administrative experience. Experience in accounting, accounts payable, and/or bookkeeping. Advanced Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and accounting software. Strong communication skills both oral and written. Ability to work well as part of a team environment. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time-management skills. Must be self-motivated able to work independently, multi-task, and thrive in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Ready-mix/aggregate/construction and/or HMA business experience preferred.
