Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in the hospitality industry, based in BLUE BELL, Pennsylvania. This job offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. The role is a hybrid model, requiring presence in the office for three days a week. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be expected to handle a variety of tasks related to accounting and customer service. Responsibilities: • Handle the matching of purchase orders and invoices to ensure accuracy. • Conduct scanning tasks for document management and record-keeping. • Manage filing tasks to maintain organized records. • Retrieve files as needed for reference or audit purposes. • Utilize accounting software systems such as Great Plains (GPAC), IBM AS/400, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for various tasks. • Perform data entry tasks with a high level of accuracy. • Use Microsoft Excel for data management and calculations. • Handle accounting functions related to accounts payable. • Manage check processing tasks to ensure timely payments. • Identify and resolve any discrepancies in accounting records or transactions. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems • Familiarity with Great Plains (GPAC) • Knowledge of IBM AS/400 • Experience with JD Edwards EnterpriseOne • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • Understanding of Accounting Functions • Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) • Ability to handle Check Processing • Strong Data Entry skills • Ability to resolve Discrepancies in financial records • Relevant working experience in the Hospitality industry is preferred • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information • High attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred • Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
