Accounts Payable Specialist

Description:
• Accounts Payable (AP): Creating invoices and making payments via Wire, ACH, online payment, and three-way matching.
• While the role does not currently involve Accounts Receivable (AR), we plan to cross-train the selected candidate in AR over time.
• Working with QuickBooks, online banking, Oracle, and Excel.
• Handling ad hoc tasks, including basic office IT support.
Performance Expectations:
The role will primarily consist of AP tasks (90%) and some administrative/clerical work (10%).
This person will typically process 100-200 invoices per month, with recent figures over the past three months being between 130-170 invoices.
The invoice booking process is straightforward, with most invoices having only one line, though some may have more. The process is simple and repetitive.

Work Environment:
This is an on-site position, Monday-Friday. Jenna will be in the office to provide guidance and help the new hire with anything she/he needs to perform her/his tasks smoothly. The employee will also train with the outgoing AP Specialist who is relocating to Florida (side-by-side training virtually).
