Accounts Payable Specialist
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry, located in Fort Worth, Texas, 76116, United States. In this role, you will be tasked with the management of our accounts payable process, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of invoices, and fostering effective vendor relationships. Responsibilities: • Review and process vendor invoices, making sure proper approvals are obtained before payment. • Accurately enter invoices into the accounting system, focusing on correct coding and categorization. • Prepare and process payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire payments, in compliance with company policies. • Maintain relationships with vendors, addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies promptly. • Perform regular reconciliations of accounts payable to ensure accuracy and completeness of records. • Generate accounts payable reports for management review, highlighting trends and anomalies. • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations, including maintaining proper documentation for audits. • Collaborate with the procurement and finance teams to improve processes and resolve issues. • Utilize your skills in Account Coding, Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), and Automated Clearing House (ACH) in performing your duties. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding. • Experience with Accounting Software Systems. • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services. • Demonstrated knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning. • Solid understanding of Accounting Functions. • Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP). • Ability to use Automated Clearing House (ACH). • Experience in the Oil & Gas - Field Services industry is preferred. • Strong communication and organizational skills. • Ability to work effectively in a team environment. • High attention to detail and accuracy. • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines. • Strong problem-solving skills.
