Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Islip NY. This role involves managing and executing various accounting functions with a focus on accounts payable. Responsibilities: • Overseeing the accurate and efficient processing of accounts payable • Utilizing various accounting software systems to perform tasks • Executing wire transfers and automated clearing house (ACH) transactions • Conducting regular check runs to ensure timely payments • Coding invoices accurately for appropriate classification in the accounting system • Handling the posting of bills and the entry of relevant data • Performing audits to ensure accuracy and compliance in accounting activities • Managing the usage of AppFolio software for property management tasks • Balancing multiple tasks and prioritizing them effectively.
