Summary
This position is responsible for assisting in preparation activities of the Accounting Department for accurate and timely dissemination of financial management reports including, but not limited to, weekly metrics, internal and external monthly financial statements, and annual audits and annual budgets.
Essential Duties:
Review and verify invoices and check requests.Sort, code and match invoicesSet invoices up for payment.Enter and upload invoices into system.Track expenses and process expense reports.Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.Support month end closing activities, as well as internal/ external audits.Audit and test SOX controls to ensure that they are performed as required and is in accordance with test scripts/controls objectives and within budgeted time allow.Cross train on all functions within accounting to support other staff.Calculates rebate and commission accruals on a monthly basis. Request and process credit memos as required.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications: Education and/or Experience Required:
