Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist located in Dallas, Texas. The job function will be in the Commodities House industry and will utilize a hybrid work model, consisting of both on-site and remote components. Responsibilities: • Accurately managing all facets of accounts payable processing and invoicing • Regularly using Navision software for various tasks • Handling all tasks related to purchase orders and ensuring their accuracy • Scanning and processing invoices effectively within the stipulated timeframes • Using Office Suite, particularly Excel, for various tasks • Collaborating with different teams to address any issues related to accounts payable • Adapting to the hybrid work schedule, with flexibility in working days. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding, ensuring proper categorization and tracking of financial transactions. • Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems, demonstrating adaptability to different platforms. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services, showcasing ability to manage payroll and employee data. • Proficiency in using Concur, demonstrating expertise in travel and expense management. • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems, showcasing ability to integrate and manage business processes. • Understanding of various Accounting Functions, demonstrating a broad skill set in finance. • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP), showcasing ability to handle vendor invoices and payments. • Knowledge of Accrual Accounting, demonstrating understanding of recognizing expenses and revenues when they are incurred and not when cash is exchanged. • Experience in Auditing, showcasing ability to examine financial records and ensure their accuracy. • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions, demonstrating understanding of electronic money transfer process. • Proficiency in using Navision, demonstrating ability to manage financial transactions and reporting.
