Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in the consumer product goods industry for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Stamford, Connecticut. The successful candidate will join our team, where they will be tasked with maintaining financial records, processing invoices, and handling customer service needs. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications • Maintain and update customer credit records • Resolve customer inquiries and issues • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions • Ensure checks and expense reports are processed • Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it • Validate, record, and mail checks, expedite special handling when required • Log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents • Support the Finance Department by completing administrative tasks • Assist with internal and external audits as needed • Operate full-cycle Accounts Payable • Follow company policies while performing daily processes and controls • Handle payments made in foreign currencies. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary for the role. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is a prerequisite. • The candidate must possess skills in Coding Invoices. • Proficiency in Invoice Processing is crucial. • Mastery of Microsoft Excel is required. • Experience with NetSuite is highly valued. • Ability to perform 3 Way Matching is necessary.
