Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist Location: Bethesda, MD Responsibilities: + Review and process invoices and check requests + Set up invoices for payment + Prepare and process accounts payable checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments + Reconcile payments and accounts + Monitor accounts to ensure timely payments + Resolve invoice discrepancies + Maintain vendor files and correspond with vendors + Produce monthly reports and assist in month-end closing + Process expense reports Qualifications: + 3+ years of full-cycle accounts payable experience + Intermediate Excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot Tables) + Experience with high volume invoice processing + Strong data entry and accounting skills + Knowledge of Lawson software and a college degree are a plus + Excellent Microsoft Office skills Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $32.00 • Medical, dental & vision• Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital• 401(k) Retirement Plan – Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available• Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents)• Short and long-term disability• Health Spending Account (HSA)• Transportation benefits• Employee Assistance Program• Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Bethesda,MD.
