Amerita, Inc. is a leading provider in home Infusion therapy. We are looking for an Accounts Payable Associate to join our Accounting team as we grow to be one of the top home infusion providers in the country. The AP Clerk will report to the Accounts Payable Supervisor and work in our Centennial, CO office.

The home infusion market is positioned for rapid growth driven by the aging population, increase in chronic diseases, robust pipeline of infusible drugs coming to market, and an industry shift from hospital delivery settings to lower-cost, high-quality alternative providers such as Amerita.

 

As a core member of the Accounting team, you will be expected to compile, classify, record, verify and maintain data and payments to accounts payable and receivable records. We will help you achieve your goals through continuous professional development and regular career progression discussions.

Responsibilities

As an Accounts Payable Associate, you will...

Review and post invoices to appropriate ledgers, spreadsheets, records and databases.Prepare, sort, copy, file and mail invoices, correspondence and other requested documents.Audit invoices against purchase orders or receipts, research discrepancies and approv for payment.Investigate problems that vendors or purchasing agents have with obtaining payment for bills.Research and process charge backs, returns, refunds, freight charges, costs of lost or damaged goods, bad checks and similar items.Respond to accounts payable inquiries.Audit freight bills against freight manifests.Analyze vendor accounts, negotiate extended terms and resolve collection inquiries.Coordinate with internal clients on payment inquiries and vendor support.Prepare analysis and summaries of accounts.Monitor accounts payable to ensure payments are accurate and timely.Assist in monthly and annual closings. Qualifications Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred1-3 years of related experience and/or training, preferably in home infusion or healthcareKnowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and accounting softwareStrong attention to detail, accuracy and thoroughness About our Line of Business Amerita is a specialty infusion company focused on providing complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of the hospital.
