Responsibilities As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for processing, tracking, and recording payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The AP specialist will have a daily, ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners. Perform daily operational tasks related to accounts payable such as receiving and distributing incoming invoices and related documents for approval, Prepare and process invoices for assigned vendors in an efficient and timely manner in accordance with company policies and procedures. Communicate effectively with team members, internal and external customers to assist with problem solving and conflict resolution. Identify and resolve discrepancies between purchase orders and invoices in compliance with existing policies. Review and verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, specifically the merchant team, to drive projects to completion and maintain vendor relationships.
