Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and professional Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in. You will play a crucial role in supporting the financial operations of our organization. Your contributions will help ensure smooth accounts payable processes and timely vendor payments.

Sorting and verifying accounts payable invoices against purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timelinessInputting invoices and relevant data into the system, maintaining organized and accurate recordsIdentifying and addressing discrepancies in billing and invoicing promptlyOverseeing vendor invoices and payments, monitoring payment schedules to ensure timely processingResponding to customer inquiries regarding payments and reviewing customer statements for reconciliation

QualificationsPost Secondary education in accounting, Finance or related fieldMinimum 1 year experience as an Accounts Payable SpecialistStrong understanding of processes, including invoice processing and payment disbursementAbility to multitask and a high level of organization requiredHigh level of accuracy and very detail oriented
