Accounts Payable Specialist
Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the Social Services industry, based in BALTIMORE, Maryland. This role involves supporting the accounting and finance departments as needed, with a focus on maintaining precise records and processing accounts payable invoices. Responsibilities: • Efficient processing of customer credit applications • Maintenance of precise customer credit records • Resolving customer account inquiries and discrepancies • Regular auditing of accounts to ensure accuracy • Utilization of various accounting software systems for account maintenance • Reconciliation of account balances and financial records • Processing of accounts payable invoices and making payments • Resolution of account discrepancies and adjustments • Handling of multiple vendor invoices • Conducting cash and credit card reconciliations • Ensuring accurate accounting entries and functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding • Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems • Experience with ADP - Financial Services • Proficiency in using Concur software • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning • Ability to perform all Accounting Functions • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) • Understanding of Accrual Accounting • Experience in Auditing • Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) procedures • Proficiency in Excel Formulas • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Understanding of Medicare procedures • Experience in Medicare Billing • Ability to perform Account Analysis • Experience in managing Payable Invoices • Ability to manage Weekly Account Payable • Proficiency in making Accounting Entries • Experience in Account Resolution • Ability to perform Account Reconciliation • Experience in Account maintenance • Ability to handle Account Inquiries • Ability to resolve Account Discrepancies • Experience in making Account Adjustments • Ability to manage Account Balance • Experience in entering Vendor Invoices • Ability to manage Multiple Vendors • Experience in Cash Reconciliations • Ability to perform Credit Card Reconciliation • Experience in Expense Reconciliation • Ability to perform Financial Reconciliation Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
