Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team located in West Sacramento, California. In this role, you will manage vendor related communication and transactions, including the processing of new vendor applications. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate vendor records and processing weekly vendor payments. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Handle the workflow and entry of vendor invoices • Establish new vendors in the system, including handling of W9 and banking setup • Oversee weekly vendor payments • Maintain consistent communication with vendors and internal team members regarding vendor-related matters • Perform additional AP and GL related tasks as necessary • Use NetSuite or similar large ERP system for various accounting functions • Utilize Office applications for data management and reporting • Ensure accurate and up-to-date vendor files are maintained • Manage vendor relationships effectively to ensure smooth operations. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Specialist role or similar. • Proven proficiency in Accounting Functions. • Extensive experience with Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures. • Demonstrated understanding and application of Accrual Accounting. • Capability to Code Invoices accurately and efficiently. • Experience in Entering Vendor Invoices in a timely and organized manner. • Skills in Managing Vendor Relationships, showcasing excellent communication and negotiation skills. • Ability to Maintain Vendor Files meticulously, demonstrating high attention to detail. • Proficiency in using NetSuite or similar accounting software.
