Description We are on the lookout for a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team located in Winston Salem, North Carolina. The role involves managing customer applications, maintaining precise customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also be tasked with the duty of monitoring customer accounts and initiating appropriate action. This position offers a long-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Efficiently and accurately processing customer credit applications. • Maintaining precise records of customer credits. • Handling queries and resolving issues raised by customers. • Continuously monitoring customer accounts and initiating appropriate action when necessary. • Utilizing Accounting Software Systems for efficient account management. • Employing ADP - Financial Services for financial management. • Using Concur for expense management. • Implementing ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for business process management. • Conducting regular auditing to ensure financial compliance. • Utilizing Automated Clearing House (ACH) for electronic payments and collections. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary for accurate financial record keeping • Demonstrable experience with Accounting Software Systems, to ensure efficient processing of transactions • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services for streamlined financial operations • Proficiency in using Concur for expense management • Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient business process management • Strong understanding of general Accounting Functions to support the finance department • Proficient in managing Accounts Payable (AP) to ensure timely vendor payments • Knowledge of Accrual Accounting for accurate financial reporting • Experience in Auditing to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) for efficient electronic fund transfers Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
