Description A client of ours is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team located in Humble, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for handling invoice processing, maintaining vendor, invoice, and payment records, entering and reconciling credit card payments, and managing vendor relationships. Responsibilities: • Handle the processing of invoices accurately, ensuring they are entered into the accounting system • Collaborate with department managers for proper approval and account coding of invoices • Monitor due dates of invoices to facilitate timely payments • Oversee and record wire and credit card payments • Transition the organization to electronic management of vendor, invoice, and payment records • Review accounts payable aging reports to ensure accuracy and provide insight into cash flow impacts and vendor management • Enter monthly bank and credit card fees into the system • Reconcile and process Vendor CC statement to invoices paid in the general ledger • Assist in setting up new vendors in the database and complete vendor credit request applications • Support the Manager in optimizing working capital and providing department managers with vendor expense visibility • Ensure adherence to organization policies and procedures and suggest process and system improvements where necessary. Requirements • Proficient in account and invoice coding • Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions • Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) • Knowledge of Accrual Accounting • Proficiency in Auditing • Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions • Skilled in using Sage Intacct software a plus • Capable of Vendor Management • Ability to handle Credit Card Receipts • Experience in Credit Card Reconciliation • Proficiency in managing Payable Invoices Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
