Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. This role is based at our on-site location and involves working within a supportive team environment. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be focused on processing invoices, coordinating checks, and managing accounts payable tasks. Responsibilities: • Handle the data entry of invoices with precision • Take on the responsibility of printing and filing invoices • Manage the process of matching invoices to checks • Conduct thorough research on invoices as needed • Oversee the sending out process of checks through FedEx and mailing • Collaborate with a small, dedicated team to ensure smooth operations • Leverage your skills in Accounts Payable (AP) and Check Processing to enhance efficiency • Utilize your data entry skills to maintain accurate records and ensure all information is up-to-date • Support the team by performing specific tasks as required For immediate assistance, apply to job posting or call 717-691-2160 Requirements Requirements: • Must possess knowledge and experience in Accounts Payable (AP) • Proven experience in check processing and data entry is required • Candidate must demonstrate strong numerical skills • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks are required • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion is necessary • Problem-solving and analytical skills are essential • Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines are key requirements • Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
