Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The role involves a hybrid work arrangement in Dallas, Texas, where the work schedule typically includes office-based work for part of the week. This position offers a contract with potential for long-term employment and involves managing accounts payable tasks to support our growing workload. Responsibilities: • Manage invoices received through an automated system via email and ensure proper system approval. • Enter and categorize relevant sales data into our current Restaurant365 accounting system, and occasionally, within our old legacy system as well. • Assist in resolving our financial reporting backlog. • Identify potential improvements in our current processes to facilitate company growth. • Use Excel sparingly for various duties. • Use various Accounting Software Systems and Enterprise Resource Planning tools to manage accounts payable tasks. • Implement Accrual Accounting principles in processing invoices and maintaining financial records. • Perform Auditing of financial reports to ensure accuracy and compliance. • Use tools like ADP - Financial Services and Concur for financial management and reporting. • Apply understanding of Restaurant operations and management in handling financial tasks specific to the industry.
