Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the logistics industry, based in Arlington, Virginia. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be tasked with the efficient and accurate processing of customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving customer inquiries. You will also play a crucial role in monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary. Responsibilities: • Handle full life-cycle Accounts Payable invoices, which includes tasks such as matching, batching, and coding invoices. • Take charge of processing employee expense reports. • Conduct bank reconciliations and provide assistance in month-end close. • Take responsibility for the processing and reconciliation of corporate credit card statements. • Maintain and prepare annual 1099 reporting. • Assist with General Ledger entry postings and job costing. • Collaborate with the Controller to facilitate monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close.
