Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Payable Specialist in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a wide range of accounting and financial tasks. Your main duties will include processing and recording transactions, managing invoices, and ensuring that all financial records are accurate. Responsibilities: • Oversee the process of three-way invoice matching to ensure accuracy • Utilize accounting software systems to process customer credit applications efficiently • Maintain and update accurate records of customer credit • Handle accounts payable functions, including auditing and accrual accounting • Utilize Concur and ADP for financial services • Implement Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) to optimize accounting functions • Manage account coding and automated clearing house (ACH) activities • Resolve customer inquiries related to their accounts • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is expected. • Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is preferred. • Knowledge of Concur software is important. • Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary. • Able to perform various Accounting Functions effectively. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is mandatory. • Accrual Accounting skills are essential. • Previous experience in Auditing is highly valued. • Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) procedures is required. • Must be able to perform 3 Way Matching.
