Description Accounts Payable Specialist Location: NW Oklahoma City, 100% On-Site Duration: Temporary Assignment (10-12 months) The Accounts Payable Specialist will ensure the accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, payments, and reconciliations. Reporting directly to the onsite Controller, this role requires a detail-oriented professional adept at managing high volumes of transactions and collaborating effectively with vendors and internal teams. Primary Responsibilities: + Process and enter large volumes of vendor invoices with precision and attention to detail. + Maintain and update the vendor database. + Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies with relevant parties. + Reconcile vendor statements and ensure accurate records. + Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payment status. + Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities. + Conduct weekly check and ACH payment runs. Requirements + High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate degree in accounting is preferred. + 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting. + Proficiency in data entry with exceptional accuracy. + Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. + Experience with SAP software is highly preferred. + High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
