Accounts Payable Specialist

Description

Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day completion of tasks related to the Accounts Payable transactions of the company. This includes processing payments through a variety of methods, processing invoices, and ensuring accuracy across the Accounts Payable function.

Review daily email, invoices, vendor requests, W-9’s, and departmental communication for processing.Set up new vendors and request vendor information.Process high volume of PO and non-PO invoices; reconcile invoices to packing slips and purchase orders.Processing and entry of monthly credit card purchases Participate in weekly A/P vendor check processing.Obtain approvals on invoices.Respond to vendor inquiries and requests for payment.Monitor and reconcile monthly vendor statements to ensure accuracy, research, and correct discrepancies.Assist in month end closing.Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately.Assist with other projects as needed

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00
