Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This job is based in Sylvania, Ohio, and offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. The chosen candidate will be working in a hands-on capacity, managing all aspects of accounts payable for our business. Responsibilities • Utilize QuickBooks desktop and online to maintain financial records for multiple companies. • Perform data entry tasks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. • Manage accounts payable duties, processing payments and invoices in a timely manner. • Maintain up-to-date and accurate records of financial transactions. • Handle any accounts payable inquiries and resolve them effectively. • Cultivate a detail-oriented approach to maintain data accuracy. • Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic work environment. • Leverage data entry skills to support numeric data entry tasks. • Display a strong focus and commitment to ensuring the completion of projects and tasks. • Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to accounts payable. Requirements • Proficiency in Data Entry is required, with a focus on accuracy and speed. • Ability to perform numeric data entry tasks with high levels of precision. • Demonstrated experience in performing various data entry tasks in a timely and efficient manner. • Typing skills are essential, particularly with regards to data entry tasks. • Proficiency in computer-based data entry is a must. • Experience with QuickBooks software is highly preferred. • Familiarity with Quickbooks Online platform will be advantageous. • Previous experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is required.
