Accounts Payable Specialist
Description We are on the lookout for a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist, set in the bustling city of Seattle, Washington. The chosen individual will play a pivotal role in our team by managing customer applications, maintaining comprehensive customer records, and resolving any customer inquiries. This role also entails monitoring customer accounts and taking necessary action. This opportunity offers a long term contract employment. Responsibilities: • Review and approve Concur expense reports from around the globe, ensuring they comply with company policies • Manage customer credit applications with precision and efficiency • Maintain comprehensive and accurate customer credit records • Handle credit card setup, payment, and reconciliation tasks • Engage in correspondence with employees to address credit card issues, questions, card declines, limits, etc. • Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure smooth operation of accounting functions • Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) tools effectively to manage accounts payable • Familiarity with Concur software is crucial as it will be used for account coding and other tasks • Be a point of contact for any customer inquiries, providing prompt and effective solutions. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding, with a proven ability to accurately process and categorize expenses • Experience with Concur, demonstrating adeptness in managing travel and expense reports • Solid knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems, with a focus on financial modules • Deep understanding of Accounting Functions, including but not limited to bookkeeping, financial reporting, and tax filing • Mastery in handling Accounts Payable (AP) procedures, showing competence in invoice processing, check runs, and vendor communication Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
