Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Seattle, Washington. In this position, you will play a crucial role in managing financial disbursements and obligations within a team. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity focusing on full cycle AP, minus expense reporting.
Responsibilities:
• Execute full cycle Accounts Payable operations to ensure the company's financial obligations are met timely and accurately.
• Utilize accounting software systems effectively to process and maintain financial data.
• Handle Account Coding tasks diligently and ensure the correct allocation of expenses.
• Leverage your expertise in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to streamline financial processes.
• Keep accurate records of financial transactions and ensure the Accounts Payable (AP) ledger is up to date.
• Apply your knowledge of Accrual Accounting to accurately represent the company's financial position.
• Conduct regular Auditing of financial transactions to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Manage Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions and ensure smooth processing of electronic transfers.
• Utilize ADP - Financial Services to facilitate efficient payroll and benefits administration.
• Actively participate in Accounting Functions, contributing to the overall efficiency of the financial department. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is essential for maintaining accurate financial records.
• Demonstrable experience with Accounting Software Systems to manage, process and analyze financial data.
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services for streamlined payroll and employee benefits administration.
• Expertise in using Concur for efficient travel and expense management.
• Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for integrated business process management.
• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions including invoicing, ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
• Extensive experience in Accounts Payable (AP) including bill payment, vendor management, and reconciliation.
• Knowledge of Accrual Accounting principles for accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
• Experience in Auditing to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) for efficient electronic funds transfer.
