Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Pleasanton, California. The selected candidate will be a part of a team in the Financial Services industry, handling vital tasks related to customer credit applications and accounting software systems. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely manner • Maintain up-to-date and correct customer credit records • Resolve any customer inquiries related to their credit applications • Continuously monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required • Handle account coding tasks diligently • Utilize ERP and accounting software systems for various tasks • Use NetSuite for managing and organizing financial data • Undertake tasks related to Fixed Asset Accounting • Employ ADP - Financial Services tools for financial management • Use Concur for expense management in the company. Requirements • Possess proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) • Proficient in using NetSuite software • Experience in Fixed Asset Accounting • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment • Knowledge of general accounting principles and procedures • Adept at data entry and management • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion • Proactive problem-solving skills • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role would be an asset.
