Description We are offering an immediate employment opportunity in the service industry for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This role involves processing a high volume of invoices, maintaining accurate records, and resolving any discrepancies that may arise. Responsibilities: • Processing both PO and non-PO invoices efficiently. • Handling queries related to invoice approvals from local staff. • Ensuring that all invoices are accurately scanned and documented. • Double-checking key attributes and matching them back to the vendor system. • Identifying and resolving discrepancies in invoices. • Addressing issues with returned invoices and taking necessary corrective actions. • Transferring approved invoices to the payment system for further processing by the payment team. • Utilizing accounting software systems for invoicing. • Leveraging skills in account coding, ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, accounting functions, Accounts Payable (AP), and Automated Clearing House (ACH).
