Description We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Thornton, Colorado. In this role, you will be operating within the Service industry, managing a variety of tasks related to accounts payable and vendor relations. Responsibilities: • Efficiently handle full-cycle accounts payable tasks, including 2 and 3-way matching of invoices. • Utilize an automated AP workflow system to reconcile invoices with purchase orders. • Ensure prompt payments to vendors and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve any arising issues. • Promptly and accurately respond to inquiries from both within and outside the organization. • Manage the processing of employee expense reports. • Reconcile vendor statements and address any discrepancies found. • Apply Sales and Use Tax rates when necessary. • Investigate and settle vendor and operation’s inquiries and disputes. • Assist with the conduct of internal and external audits. • Keep process documentation updated and accurate. • Adhere to the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific detail oriented and ethical standards. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary for the role. • Experience with Accounting Software Systems is required. • Knowledge and experience with ADP - Financial Services is a must. • Familiarity with Concur software is needed. • Understanding and experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is important. • Proficiency in various Accounting Functions is required. • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is essential. • Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is necessary. • Auditing experience is a must for this role. • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) is required.
