Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist based in Sunnyvale, California. In this hybrid role, you will be tasked with the efficient and accurate processing of vendor invoices, maintaining vendor relationships, and supporting accounting policies and procedures within the company. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process and pay invoices to ensure vendor satisfaction • Set up new vendors in the accounting system • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures in all tasks • Provide necessary support to the larger accounting team • Handle ad-hoc reporting as needed • Communicate effectively with vendors and business partners • Reconcile vendor statements and address any discrepancies • Use accounting software systems such as Netsuite, Zendesk, Excel, Google docs/sheets for various tasks • Perform accounting functions such as Account Coding, Accrual Accounting, and Auditing • Utilize tools like ADP - Financial Services, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for financial management and planning. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is vital. • Must be adept with Accounting Software Systems for efficient workflow. • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required. • Experience with Concur is a significant advantage. • Must have knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning. • Understands and can effectively perform Accounting Functions. • Must be skilled in managing Accounts Payable (AP). • Knowledge of Accrual Accounting is expected. • Auditing skills are essential for this role. • Must have experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations.
