Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounts Payable Specialist in Westlake Village, California. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including recording and processing vendor invoices, managing employee expense reports, and maintaining accurate financial records. You will also be expected to interact professionally with vendors and consultants, and collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy of records. Responsibilities • Accurately enter invoices into the NetSuite system after reviewing them for approval. • Monitor vendor accounts and keep records of amounts owed. • Ensure compliance with the company's reimbursement policy by processing employee expense reports for payment. • Maintain accurate vendor files and track any changes. • Address inquiries and research discrepancies by interacting effectively and professionally with vendors and consultants. • Assist in the processing of form 1099-misc at the end of the year. • Code expenses accurately and reconcile vendor accounts. • Interface with other departments internally to resolve inquiries and ensure records are accurate. • Maintain vendor master files and Tax ID information in NetSuite. Requirements • Proficiency in NetSuite software is a must for efficient workflow management. • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including creating spreadsheets and using advanced formulas, is required. • Demonstrated experience in invoice processing is essential for accurate and timely payments. • Expertise in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures is necessary to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.
