Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to become a part of our team in Deer Park, Texas. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our operations, managing full cycle accounts payable tasks, processing expense reports, and performing bank and general ledger reconciliations. This role offers a contract to permanent position and is based 100% in-office. Responsibilities: • Overseeing full cycle accounts payable processes. • Precisely processing and coding account transactions. • Employing accounting software systems for various accounting functions. • Carrying out regular audits to ensure financial accuracy. • Reconciling bank and general ledger accounts. • Managing expense reports and ensuring their accuracy. • Implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for financial management. • Processing transactions through Automated Clearing House (ACH). • Collaborating with ADP - Financial Services for payment processes. • Using Concur for travel and expense management. Requirements • Proficient in Account Coding, with the ability to accurately categorize expenses and transactions. • Expertise in utilizing Accounting Software Systems to streamline financial processes. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services for efficient payroll management. • Familiarity with Concur for managing travel and expenses. • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for integrated business process management. • Solid understanding of various Accounting Functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, and tax reporting. • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice processing and payment. • Proficiency in Accrual Accounting, with the ability to record revenues and expenses when they are incurred, regardless of when cash is exchanged. • Experience in Auditing, with the ability to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures. • Familiar with Automated Clearing House (ACH) for electronic money transfer.
