Description Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our finance team. This role is critical in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our accounts payable processes. The ideal candidate will have experience handling a high volume of invoices, working with QuickBooks Online and Excel, and assisting with month-end reconciliations. Requirements + Process a high volume of invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and timely payments. + Enter and code invoices into QuickBooks Online, ensuring proper classification. + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner. + Assist with month-end reconciliations, including AP aging reports and accruals. + Maintain organized records of invoices, payments, and approvals. + Communicate with vendors and internal teams to address inquiries and resolve issues. + Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. + Support ad hoc financial projects as needed. Preferred Qualifications: + Experience working in a nonprofit organization or understanding of grant-funded accounting. + Familiarity with GAAP and nonprofit financial regulations.
