Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist based in a location in Michigan, United States. This role is within the Automotive Manufacturing industry and will involve substantial communication with vendors and managing weekly payment plans. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, your key responsibilities will also include entering invoices, executing weekly check runs, and carrying out additional tasks as required. Responsibilities • Engage in frequent communication with vendors to establish and manage weekly payment plans. • Enter vendor invoices accurately and promptly. • Execute weekly check runs to ensure timely payments. • Utilize Microsoft Excel competently, including the use of pivot tables and vlookup functions. • Perform various accounting functions, including account coding. • Process Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions. • Use a specific Manufacturing ERP for various tasks. • Maintain and manage vendor relationships effectively. • Oversee accounts payable (AP) operations. • Possibility of growing into an Accounts Payable Manager role in the future. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Accounts Payable Specialist or in a similar role. • Proficient in Account Coding and Accounting Functions. • Extensive familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes. • Experience with Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations. • Demonstrable skills in using Plex and Plex Manufacturing ERP software. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must. • Proven experience in entering vendor invoices accurately and timely. • Ability to manage vendor relationships effectively. • Experience in executing check runs.
