Description We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Part Time Remote: Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist to join our team on a part-time, remote basis. This role will support the finance team in processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. The ideal candidate will have experience with Ramp or similar financial management platforms. Key Responsibilities: + Process incoming vendor invoices and ensure timely and accurate payment using Ramp and other accounting tools in accordance with company policies. + Reconcile AP statements, ensuring accuracy and completeness of records. + Maintain vendor relationships and respond to inquiries regarding payment status. + Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports. + Monitor and maintain accounts payable records, including appropriate documentation and approvals. + Support audit processes by providing necessary documentation and reports related to AP. + Assist with any other ad-hoc accounting tasks or projects as needed. Requirements Qualifications: + Previous experience in accounts payable or similar accounting role is preferred. + Experience using Ramp or similar financial management software is highly desirable. + Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping. + Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. + Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment. + Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. + Knowledge of accounting principles and practices is a plus. + Self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Experience: + Experience working in a nonprofit or philanthropic environment is a plus. + Familiarity with payment platforms and automated invoice processing tools.
