Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team located in Circle Pines, Minnesota. This role primarily focuses on managing and processing accounts payable invoices, as well as maintaining accurate customer records. The job also involves resolving customer inquiries and monitoring customer accounts. Responsibilities: • Manage communication with supply chain and warehouses • Analyze and solve problems related to accounts payable • Ensure accurate and timely account reconciliations • Conduct weekly payment runs/proposals • Display proficiency in Excel skills – pivot tables, vlookups • Manage full cycle accounts payable processing • Enter inventory and non-inventory bills accurately and promptly • Demonstrate keen attention to detail in all tasks. *Please note that all candidates are required to provide 2 recent supervisor or manager references in order to be considered for employment. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable position • Demonstrated ability in account reconciliation • Experience with month-end close processes • Proficient in Microsoft Excel • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred • Strong mathematical and analytical skills • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities • High attention to detail and accuracy • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously • Knowledge of accounting software and systems.
