We are seeking an AP Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for receiving invoices from vendors, routing them for review and approval, coding credit card receipts, and executing reconciliations. You will also correspond with vendors, research aged invoices, process weekly vendor payments, and update account information as needed. Adherence to company policies and assisting the Finance and Accounting team are essential aspects of this role.
Responsibilities
+ Receive invoices from vendors and route them in the ERP system to appropriate managers for review and approval.
+ Code credit card receipts and execute reconciliations on credit card statements.
+ Correspond with vendors and respond to payment status inquiries.
+ Research aged invoices received from vendors and review vendor history in the accounts payable system when necessary.
+ Process vendor payments on a weekly basis.
+ Update vendor or merchant account information in the ERP system when necessary.
+ Adhere to company policies in performing all assigned accounting duties and communicate any compliance deviations and internal control weaknesses to management timely.
+ Assist Finance and Accounting team as needed.
Essential Skills
+ Accounts payable experience
+ Invoice processing skills
+ Purchase order knowledge
+ 2+ years of AP experience (specifically PO and invoicing based)
+ 1+ year of Construction Accounting experience
+ Experience with Sage 300 (construction based ERP) or Vista Viewpoint (the person's ERP)
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with integrations (nice to have)
Work Environment
This is a fully onsite position, working Monday to Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM. The workplace is currently constructing new offices and other seating areas to enhance the work environment.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr.
