Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist at our location in Decatur, Georgia. Working in the industry, the selected candidate will be based on-site and will be responsible for handling various aspects of Accounts Payable (AP), processing payments, and utilizing Oracle. Responsibilities • Accurately and efficiently process customer credit applications • Maintain precise customer credit records • Handle communication with the bank regarding payment processes • Manage Accounts Payable (AP) tasks including invoice matching with Oracle outputs • Conduct analysis and research on AP related reports • Oversee the AP process and understand its intricacies • Monitor customer accounts and perform necessary actions Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures and operations • Demonstrable experience in Payment Processing • Expertise in using Oracle software for financial management • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail • Strong numerical skills for accurate data entry • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work efficiently • Excellent oral and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis • High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines • Knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures, financial chart of accounts and corporate procedures • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion • Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
