Description Growing Downtown Manhattan organization is currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist. Our client, a leader in their respective industry is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist with 1+ years of experience and proficiency in QuickBooks to join their finance department. Responsibilities: + Process invoices, including data entry, coding, and matching purchase orders. + Manage weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers. + Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner. + Maintain accurate financial records within QuickBooks. + Communicate effectively with vendors to handle inquiries and payment issues. + Assist with month-end close processes, including account reconciliation related to accounts payable. Requirements + 1+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance/accounting role. + Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP). + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment. + Bachelors degree preferred.
