Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Daphne, Alabama. This role falls within the healthcare industry and will be based in a traditional office setting. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for the accurate processing of invoices and managing payments, amongst other responsibilities. Responsibilities: • Accurately processing a high volume of invoices on a weekly basis. • Efficiently setting payment terms as part of the accounts payable process. • Utilizing accounting software systems, such as Microsoft Great Plains, for financial management. • Conducting regular checks of customer accounts and taking necessary action. • Resolving any customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner. • Collaborating with the wider team to ensure all invoices are passed on to the appropriate centers. • Utilizing ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning systems to manage and integrate business processes. • Overseeing the Automated Clearing House (ACH) process as part of accounts payable responsibilities. • Maintaining meticulous records of customer credit information. • Ensuring all accounting functions are carried out in accordance with company policy.
