Description We are in search of an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Santa Clara. As an integral part of our team, you'll be tasked with managing financial records and handling a large volume of client accounts financial activity. Your duties will encompass accounts payable processes, client billing and reimbursements, intercompany transactions, and basic accounting principles, all while working independently in a fast-paced environment. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage day-to-day accounts payable processes, including invoice verification, coding, and posting. • Accurately maintain and organize records of financial transactions and vendor data within the financial software. • Handle daily client payment requests, ensuring timely and accurate payments. • Conduct monthly reconciliation of bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts. • Manage and process daily, weekly, and monthly intercompany billing and reimbursements, ensuring reconciliation and issue resolution. • Promptly reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies. • Support tax filings and other tax-related requirements in collaboration with the Controller. • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards, while maintaining a risk-averse approach to safeguard financial integrity. • Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and team members to address inquiries and resolve issues. Requirements • Proficient in Account Coding and its application in accounting procedures • Knowledge and experience with Accounting Software Systems for efficient financial management • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services and its functionalities • Ability to use Concur for travel and expense management • Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for business process management • Capable of handling all Accounting Functions with accuracy and efficiency • Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) processes and procedures • Proficient in Accrual Accounting and its principles • Auditing skills to ensure accuracy and compliance in all financial transactions • Knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes and regulations Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
