Description We are offering an employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in the manufacturing industry, located in Whittier, California. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial data and ensuring precision in all accounting activities. Responsibilities: • Process and manage customer credit applications with accuracy • Maintain and audit the integrity of general ledger entries • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic planning initiatives • Manage the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable • Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of accounts to identify discrepancies • Assist in the implementation of accounting procedures to streamline processes • Foster detail oriented development and growth of entry level accounting staff • Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards • Assist with external audits ensuring timely submissions • Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. • Must have experience with Balance Sheet Reconciliation. • Experience with Bank Reconciliations is essential. • Knowledge and understanding of General Ledger operations is necessary. • Ability to handle Journal Entries is a requirement. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is expected. • Experience with Month End Close procedures is needed. • Knowledge of SyteLine software is required.
