Description We are searching for a meticulous Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team in the machinery manufacturing industry in SAINT LOUIS, Missouri. The role offers a short term contract employment opportunity where you will be playing a pivotal role in processing financial transactions, maintaining financial systems and ensuring the company's financial records are accurate and up-to-date. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications as part of the Accounts Payable (AP) function • Use Accounting Software Systems to maintain precise customer credit records • Efficiently manage account coding to ensure financial data is correctly categorized • Utilize the ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning system to monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions • Handle any customer inquiries related to their accounts and resolve them swiftly • Ensure the smooth running of all accounting functions within the organization • Employ ADP - Financial Services for automated financial transactions • Perform regular auditing of financial transactions and records for accuracy • Utilize the Concur system for managing expenses and invoices • Oversee the Automated Clearing House (ACH) processes for electronic transactions. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding, with the ability to accurately categorize financial transactions. • Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems and the ability to use them efficiently. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services, and the ability to use its features effectively. • Proficiency in using Concur, with a focus on streamlining company expenses. • Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning, with the ability to use it for business management. • Understanding of Accounting Functions and the ability to execute them accurately. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), with the ability to manage and track company debts. • Knowledge of Accrual Accounting, with the ability to record transactions as they occur. • Experience with Auditing, with a focus on ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH), and the ability to use it for electronic payments and collections.
