Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Specialist in Weatherford, Texas, 76086, United States. As an integral part of our Manufacturing team, you will be tasked with managing payable accounts, ensuring accurate record keeping, and responding to relevant inquiries. Responsibilities: • Accurately manage and process invoices for payment • Execute full-cycle accounts payable duties • Ensure accurate and efficient 3-way matching of invoices • Maintain and update customer credit records as needed • Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions • Handle filing of check backup post printing • Utilize JD Edwards EnterpriseOne for various accounts payable tasks. Requirements • Proven experience in Accounts Payable (AP) role within the Manufacturing industry • Comprehensive understanding of financial statements and general ledgers • Proficiency in using JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software for accounting tasks • Ability to process, verify, and reconcile invoices accurately and in a timely manner • Strong numerical skills with meticulous attention to detail • Knowledge of applicable accounts payable/general ledger systems and procedures • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for liaising with vendors and internal stakeholders • Capacity to handle confidential information with integrity and discretion • Demonstrated ability to manage workload effectively and meet strict deadlines • Sound decision-making skills and ability to resolve payment discrepancies independently • Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance related to accounts payable • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, for financial reporting and analysis.
