Description We are in need of an Accounts Payable Specialist for a cleanup project to temporarily support our client in North Fort Worth, Texas, 76177, United States. This role involves accurately processing invoices, expense reports, and check requests for payment and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting regulations. This is a short term contract employment opportunity, offering a chance to work in an industry that values detail-oriented individuals with a knack for accounting functions. Responsibilities: • Accurately process invoices, expense reports, and check requests for payment. • Confirm the accuracy of invoices, matching them with purchase orders, and address any discrepancies. • Keep vendor records up-to-date and ensure adherence to company policies. • Reconcile monthly statements and work towards resolving any outstanding payment issues. • Prepare and process electronic transfers, ACH payments, and check runs. • Assist in the completion of month-end closing tasks and financial reporting. • Keep records of invoices, receipts, and financial documents organized. • Liaise with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries. • Ensure all procedures are in line with accounting regulations and company procedures. • Utilize various software systems such as ADP - Financial Services, Concur, and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for accounting functions. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is mandatory. • Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is required. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is needed. • Must be well-versed in using Concur. • Proficiency in ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary. • Must have a strong understanding of Accounting Functions. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential. • Auditing skills are a prerequisite. • Must have knowledge of Automated Clearing House (ACH). • Coding Invoices skills are required.
