Description We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Aurora, Colorado. In this role, you will be expected to manage a high volume of financial transactions and maintain accurate records in our manufacturing sector. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process high volumes of steel and freight invoices • Manage a large amount of checks per week and ensure adherence to tight deadlines • Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure payments are made within the required timeframe to avail discounts • Handle a high volume of invoices with a 3-way match on a weekly basis • Comfortably manage transactions across multiple sites, ensuring the correct invoices are sent to the appropriate locations • Utilize accounting software systems to maintain records and process transactions • Ensure all account coding is done accurately and in a timely manner • Utilize ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for efficient management of resources • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance • Handle Automated Clearing House (ACH) transactions effectively. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is essential. • Adeptness with Accounting Software Systems is required. • Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary. • Familiarity with Concur is a must. • Proficiency in the use of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning tools is expected. • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions is required. • Demonstrated ability in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary. • Proficiency in Accrual Accounting is essential. • Experience in Auditing is a requirement. • Knowledge in Automated Clearing House (ACH) is expected.
