(HYBRID) Accounts Payable Specialist
Job Description
We are searching for an Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist within the Finance organization. This role requires the individual to perform a variety of accounting tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions, including vendor and employee expense report functions.
Responsibilities
+ Review and process expense reports daily
+ Assist employees with completing expense reports
+ Troubleshoot system issues for expense reports
+ Maintain financial records and data systems, including vendor files
+ Process accounts payable vouchers, checks, wire transfers, and ACH payments
+ Verify invoices, invoice numbers, account codes, and financial accounts; assist with resolution of discrepancies
+ Trace transactions through previous accounting actions to help resolve discrepancies
+ Correspond with vendors and respond to payment status inquiries
+ Perform account research and ad-hoc accounting/reporting/administrative tasks
+ Other duties as assigned

+ 2+ years of experience in Accounting, Accounts Receivable, and Reconciliation
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 2-4 years of Vendor Accounts Payable and Expense Report processing experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred
+ Expense Reporting in Deltek Costpoint preferred
+ Strong organizational and prioritization skills
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
+ High level of integrity and professionalism
+ Ability to plan effectively, work well under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
+ Strong interpersonal skills and desire to work in a collaborative environment
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
Work Environment
The team has a close-knit culture, often enjoying lunches and happy hours together. The company promotes work-life balance. This role requires working under general supervision and following standard procedures. The position is part of a team of seven, with three days required in person. This opening is due to team turnover, with members moving to other departments and roles.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.85 - $43.27/hr.
