Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Omaha, Nebraska, within the banking industry. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently process incoming invoices, which arrive both electronically and via mail • Assign incoming invoices for approval, ensuring that they reach the correct parties • Monitor the status of invoices and follow up on any that are pending • Use systems such as Concur and Avid to run invoices • Ensure all invoices are paid on time to maintain good relationships with vendors • Potentially handle tasks such as matching, batching, and coding of invoices • May require work within the General Ledger, highlighting the importance of accuracy and attention to detail • Capable of dealing with high volumes of work, particularly on Wednesdays when checks are cut • Maintain a process-driven approach to all tasks, ensuring consistency and reliability in the role. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. • Must have experience with Accounts Payable (AP). • Ability to perform Check Runs effectively. • Familiarity with Coding Invoices is a must. • Excellent Data Entry skills are necessary. • Experience in Invoice Processing is required. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. • Knowledge of Oracle software is beneficial. • Experience with QuickBooks is essential. • Must be familiar with SAP software.
